Helping a Texas-based health system reach more patients and referral sources with a solid brand strategy.
Before Design At Work could put our healthcare marketing plan in action, we needed to unite Nexus’ many facilities under its single health system. From changing facility names to developing a brand to increase top-of-mind-awareness, our marketing agency got to work. The bold, new brand identity and strategic messaging of the brand campaign, “Mending Minds”, has helped achieve Nexus’ first objective — to have people know of them prior to being in the hospital or needing their services.
From there, Design At Work has streamlined the many different websites and social media accounts each facility had from when they were marketed individually — creating cohesion with a single, engaging and resourceful website. That consistency has continued through all sales collateral, website downloadables, conference material, advertisements and patient/family resources. We have also standardized admission processes and documentation, built-out the marketing assets of Nexus’ pediatric and adult rehabilitation programs and helped initiate a patient satisfaction survey process.
Design At Work handles the content marketing strategy, creating website and blog content regularly — both to position Nexus as experts in the industry and to support organic SEO strategies. Our creative firm also oversees Nexus’ email marketing strategy to help the health system stay connected to referral sources and past patients.
As internal marketing is also important to Nexus, Design At Work has produced the #NexusCares campaign to energize and show appreciation for employees. HR documents and benefits booklets have also been developed for consistent messaging.
As with all brands, Nexus’ campaign reached its lifespan graphically, so Design At Work brainstormed an elevated look and feel that reflects their growth. This new look featuring the Nexus “X” can be seen across the website, collateral, and internal documents and training.
